What happened to the one comment that was on here? I didn't know making a recommendation on ways to improve usability was frowned upon. Although, yes, neither Slideshow Pro nor Flickr would generate all the clicks that drive up impressions for The Deck ads when users are forced to clickclickclickclick to get to the next image.

We've been getting a wave of comment spam on particular articles, including this one, and the previous comment (suggesting other means for slideshows) was accidentally deleted in the cleaning process.
To the point: we like driving up page views as much as the next guy, but you may be giving us too much credit for our business acumen.
And by the way, readers, if you include your real email address when you post a comment, we can respond to you offline in cases like this.
