I've taken Eric Baker's Graphic Design History Class at SVA. He was to me one of the coolest teachers I've ever had. He showed his love and enthusiasm for graphic design in every class. That guy knows his stuff. I look forward to see his post.

That sounds like something smart to do before starting your design-filled day. Where do you look? Any other pointers for "warming up" ? I work in advertising and sometimes I get stuck. I'd like some advice on this. When you go in the morning, do you just look everywhere for images or do you look certain places?

I remember when designing a 12" record jacket was the neatest thing since sliced bread! P@

Being somewhat of an audiophile, these images bring me back to my history. Thanks.

Francheska...

If you look at the TODAY post of 03.21.09 you'll see a number of links to various sites... good hunting.

I have to take this opportunity to plug my pal Derek's blog here, because he not only posts lots of great images of the labels from 45 RPM singles (a new one daily), but also the songs themselves.
