A great collection of images for this July 4th week. Thanks for all your research each week on the "Today" images, Eric. "Today" has become my weekend inspiration.

Very patriotic. The corporate flag is kind of funny but true. Awesome post.

Perhaps the best flag in terms of graphic design... I guess no other country is more recognizable than the United States. Well, except for Canada, maybe...

The flags in the jars is so great.

Perhaps the best flag in terms of graphic design ?
What is recognizable is not the flag, it's the country behind it. Do Chile, Bhutan, or Zaïre/RdC have less recognizable flags ? I don't think.
In the field of purely formal graphic design, the swiss flag is quite… swiss ! and the nepali one is… something else.

As a northern neighbour (yes, there's a 'u' in there :) I appreciate the patrotic mood board presented here but can someone explain to me the flags in jars? I find it the most fascinating of the bunch.
