Bill Moran:
Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum
Hamilton Wood Type Foundry
Wood type manufacturing continued into the 20th century in Two Rivers, though a much smaller part of Hamilton’s product base. Wood type and printers equipment gave way to laboratory and ventilation equipment including the first electric clothes dryer.
Bill Moran has been associated with the Hamilton Wood Type Museum since 2001, where he has volunteered, taught, and worked. In 2002 Bill was commissioned to create the museum's first new type face design, Hamilton Offset. More Bio >>
